Hello my beautiful readers! This week is Thanksgiving in the United States and I, like many, celebrate this by hosting a magnificent feast. With only a couple of days left before my guests arrive, I’ve decided to make this post short and sweet—like ME! Actually it’s going to be short and savory because I’m sharing a few recipes for all that leftover turkey.
If you host you know that, despite shoving food in people’s coat pockets and handbags, you get the bulk of the leftovers. Great for a couple of days but then turkey fatigue (it’s a THING) sets in. Here’s a link that has 9 rather creative and healthy recipes that will get you excited about your turkeypalooza!!
I attended a yoga class yesterday and at the beginning the teacher was helping us transition from our busy day to the class. He did this by saying that he hardly ever expresses what he’s thankful for about himself like the love and kindness he shares with others. “Take a moment now and think of 3 things you’re grateful for about yourself,” he said. Wow. Ok. Here are mine:
1. I’m thankful for my curiosity about the human experience.
2. I love that I laugh with my whole face and pretty much my entire torso.
3. I’m thankful I continue challenge myself personally and professionally—even while I bellyache about it. 🙂
What are 3 things you are thankful for about yourself?
